The Flyers announced today they have signed forward Michael Raffl (25) to a contract extension.
The deal is for two years and $1.1 million per. Raffl was on a one year deal for $792,500.
The rookie Austrian has nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 56 games with the Flyers this season. His versatility has proved invaluable as he has made an impact on every line this year. Raffl has contributed to the 7th best penalty killing unit in the NHL.
Flyers' next game is Monday against the Kings in Philly.
