The Flyers have signed forward Darroll Powe (29) to an AHL contract.
Powe was previously in the organization from 2006-2011 having played 95 games with the Philadelphia Phantoms and 204 with the Philadelphia Flyers. The 5'11" 212 pound veteran played all 23 games during the Flyers' 2010 playoff run.
The Flyers traded the popular 4th line penalty killing forward to the Wild for a 3rd round pick in the 2013 draft in 2011, which was later a part of the Nicklas Grossmann trade.
Powe was later dealt to the Rangers after a season and eight games and accumulated zero points in 42 contests during the 2013 season. Last year Powe had 13 goals and 11 assists in 73 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL.
The versatile forward will join other new NHL vets with the Phantoms in Andrew Gordon, Zack Stortini, and Blair Jones.
